I can't believe he will be 8 months next week! From the moment he gets up in the morning [this past week he didn't wake up before 9:15a.m!! This was the first time in 8 months that we have been able to sleep in that late- Thank you Jesus] until he takes a nap, Caleb is go go go. Despite how exhausting this age is- it is equally as fun. Dad is able to be more rough him and Caleb loves being tossed in the air, bounced, and chased around the room.

Climb Time!
"Ma, I'm trying to figure out this toy box...how does it open?"
"Look at my teeth!!"
Crawling
" There is no stopping me now!"
Chewing on mom's cell phone! We had to take Caleb back to the doctor's on Friday. We were concerned about his ear as he continued to tug at it. The doctor gave us drops to reduce his pain. He also gave us an antibiotic but we are going to try to fight the infection first.
On a lighter note, Caleb continues to be very mobile. He can easily pull himself to a standing position. He is such a big boy! He's also begining to mock our behavior. Travis opened and shut his drawer the other day and Caleb then went up to his drawer and opened and shut it!
He is doing well in his 'alone time.' We place him in his play pen and he does a great job of being creative with his toys. He his like his mama in that he needs a few moments to himself to process and reflect!
