Fall Fashion

Caleb wearing some Fall clothes!
Playing with his chair
"Daddy, you are so silly"
"Okay, can I play now?"
Waving!

I keep telling Travis, "This is really the best age!" However, I think that I have said that at every stage of the game. He is just a joy and I feel that he is understanding more and more each day.

Brushing!

Shoes

Caleb...not very happy about his church shoes.
Trying to kick off church shoes
A little meltdown over church shoes.
Our sweet messy eater...Caleb Jay
Accepting church shoes and sneaking in a few minutes of educational time before church!!
Caleb Jay has been a such a joy these last few days!! He is continually talking [videos are coming soon] and telling stories. Caleb also knows no stranger!! We often venture to the park in which Caleb fearlessly approaches the children playing [regardless of their age] and stands strangely close to them. He is such a little social guy. I think that he grows weary of all this mommy and me time!! However, I just can't get enough of it! He's enjoying his swim lessons and book club and is learning a great deal.
Lord, we pray for wisdom and guidance in raising him!!
We love you family!

Swim Lessons

Caleb has already made his Christmas List this year...first thing on the list is a vacuum and then a broom!!! He just can't get enough of it!

Here is Caleb Jay at his first swim class.
"Oh Dad, they expect me to do a back float....I'm so nervous!"
Waiting for direction
Tackling the stairs like a big boy!

I have decided that babies have a way of making all people smile. For example, on our regular morning walk we walk by the local homeless shelter. Just the very sight of Caleb causes many of the guests to smile and make sweet comments. Further down the road we walk past a law office in which ladies in the window wave and smile. Still yet, at the library an elderly man smiles and laughs as he sees Caleb walk on by. What is it about babies that cause such happiness and joy? It think it is their innocence, cuteness, and overall sweet spirits!! I agree with Caleb's T-shirt that states, "Thank Heaven for Little Boys [or Girls]."

It's a BOY!!!!!

Here is Caleb in complete shock after receiving the news of his baby brother!!!
"I just can't believe it....but I'm so excited!"

Here I am...21 weeks along!!

We had our ultrasound today and everything looked great! The name we have picked out is: Micah John.

We decided upon Micah because of his amazing character in the Bible and Travis' life verse is Micah 6:8 He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.

We decided upon John after my wonderful father John Angelo Paolone!!

Praise the Lord for a great report!

Busy Days....

Caleb eating his snack in his wagon.
"All Star"
Showing off new shoes
Fresh out of the shower
Playing on the floor.
All of a sudden I feel that our days are very full! Caleb begins swim lessons on Saturday and he is now enrolled in a Mommy and Me reading group at the library [which he loves!!!]. I started piano lessons this week, joined two bible studies, am subbing two days a week and trying to help out with Bridges as often as possible- ahh the life of a stay-at-home mom!! But don't worry mom- I'm not over-committed and I'm making time for my devotion!!
Thursday we have an ultrasound and will be able to find out the gender of baby number two!! We can't wait! I am currently 21 weeks and will post pictures soon of my growing belly!
Caleb is really starting to tell us some stories. He uses inflection and many different sounds....he'll be asking for the car keys in no time at all!!

The many faces of Caleb Jay!

Caleb is learning how to use his spoon...it's been a messy road!
Look at those teeth!
"Like this mom?"
"Am I doing this right...it sure feels awkward!"
"Oh this silly spoon...."
