2.25.08

Allow me to apologize for the lack of updates. Caleb wasn't feeling 100% last week so all free time was spent nursing him back to health!

Caleb has graduated from an "army crawl" to a big boy crawl....there is no stopping him now!!
So strong- he can even pull himself up to a standing position!
This is all I ever see now- his backside as he takes off!
Bye KK

In a last minute decision, I decided to travel home on Saturday for my grandmother's 80th Birthday Bash!! I left Caleb at home with dad for the day....they had a wonderful time together. Here are a few shots of the weekend!

Teething

Caleb loves his oversized 'gum soother' from Grandma Paolone!!!

Crib Time!

Here we have Caleb chewing on his bummer. Look at those precious feet!
I went to check on Caleb during his nap and this is how I found him!!
Caleb is getting so strong!! However, Travis and I are worried sick whenever we lay him in his crib for fear that he may climb/fall out!

Caleb's eating has improved greatly. He enjoys his advocado's and will eat an entire one in a sitting. His diet consists of rice ceral, carrots, squash, advocado's and mother's sweet milk!

Weekend of milestones!!

Caleb loves it when mommy brushes her teeth. Since he now has 2 teeth, he thought they might need a good brushing as well....
Caleb pushing himself into a sitting position!
Such a big boy!!!
His reward for a hard days' work!
Caleb scooted himself under the couch!
2.09.08

This weekend has been a weekend of developmental milestones for Caleb!!! Friday night, he was up on all fours swaying back and forth as if he was ready for "take off!" On Saturday Caleb was playing on his belly and then all of a sudden he pulled himself to a sitting position. Now that he knows how to do this, he is doing it all the time!! Travis and I went to get him from his crib and there he sat, playing with his teddy! Then in the bathtub, he reached out and grabbed the ledge and pulled himself up to a standing position. Needless to say, we have to lower his crib! He's such a big big boy!

Friday night mommy had some of her lady friends over the house. Caleb is such a social little guy...he loved all the attention and he couldn't stop smiling at all the pretty girls!!

Support Bridges Outreach

Many of you know that my husband and his best friend, Casey Cline work for a non-profit organization in Kokomo, IN that seeks to help at-risk students. Here's a new easy way to raise money for that cause. Just start using GoodSearch.com as your search engine and online shopping mall. Every time you search the Internet or make an online purchase at one of their partner merchants, GoodSearch makes a donation to your favorite nonprofit or school and it's powered by Yahoo! so you get great search results!

Type: Bridges Outreach Kokomo, IN in the box that states "What do you Good Search for?"

Thank you family and friends!!

Happy Baby!

Playin'
Caleb loves his Pack N' Play- Thanks Aunt Nancy, Kathy, and Debbie!
Caleb about to take off!

In my Parenting magazine I read the following....

"What is the activity level of your child? Does your baby usually seem content to watch the world from his bouncy seat? Or does she turn diaper changes into wrestling matches?"

Needless to say...Caleb is a highly active baby. I told Travis yesterday that bathing is now a two person job. I realized this as I witnessed Mr. Slippery straddle the tub in an attempt to reach the water nozzle! The magazine reported that this means Caleb has a high tolerance for stimulation [similar to his mama!]. The downside: I have to safety-proof the house asap!

Feb Fun [cont]

Beautiful Jen and her baby Isaiah
Story: Caleb was hitting Isaiah's dad...you can tell from Isaiah's face that he was not very happy with Caleb!
Comparing legs....
Well our little guy is doing well. His second tooth has finally come through and we are hoping that this will bring an increase in his appetite. Caleb is becoming more and more mobile so we have to keep a very close eye on him!
Favorite word: "HI"
Favorite song: "Ms Mary Mack"
Favorite game: "Peek-a-boo"
Favorite food: rice cereal and squash
Love you!
My favorite thing about this picture is Caleb's face...as if he's saying, "Is she still watching me...what can I get away with!"
