Jehovah Jeriah- Our Provider

God continues to amaze us here in Kokomo, IN. As many of you know, I am from Ohio so we venture to my homeland several times a year to see my family. The trip has always been manageable due to Travis' generous Grandparents who have allowed us to borrow their Van for the 5+ hour trip. However, Travis and I knew that this privilege would not last forever. So we have been discussing purchasing our own van. My parents approached us about buying my Honda Civic so that money plus our tax return allowed us to purchase our own van [Photo's of it will be in later posts] without having a car payment. Isn't God so good!!!
In this first picture, I was getting ready to take Caleb to a Birthday Party and when I walked out of my room, this is how I found Caleb. Needless to say Micah and I brought him home his cupcake and party favors!

Here we have Micah displaying excellent defensive skills!

"Hello?"

Sweet Brothers posing!
As I've previously mentioned, Our God is so Faithful! I am often in awe of His GREATNESS! I recently landed a cleaning job at a local Eye Doctor's Office. It's flexible and works well with our schedule so that Travis can watch the boys while I clean!
Today Caleb said, "Mommy, your shirt pretty." Love that I don't have to miss any of those moments with my boys!!

Loving us a little "Wii"
Lin was really reading but we all know it's not my favorite thing to do- I tried though!! Oh how I love my sistas!!!

So Micah and Caleb have been fighting the flu for the past two weeks. I think we are over the worst of it. Here is poor Micah trying to eat some blueberries with a very stuffed up nose- look at those sick eyes.

boys=not impressed
girls= super intense

Mommy and the Birthday boy!!
So as many of you know, we have been working with Caleb on his potty training and I feel like this week we've had several breakthroughs!! I used to just have to take him to the potty very 45mins-1hr. However, this week he has said, "I have to go potty" or the best was when he went all by himself and didn't even tell me! He even gets out of bed during his 'nap,' hops on the potty and then [occasionally] gets back into bed! He's all grown up now!
On a different note, I think my boys have a milk allergy. I have come to this conclusion based on the fact that they are often congested and have watery eyes when they consume it. As a result, I have started experimenting with other alternatives. I have tried rice milk, soy, and organic whole milk. However, all such products had their downsides. I was concerned with the lack of fat in rice milk, the amount of estrogen in the soy milk, and the milk protein in the organic whole milk. So my recent find is Coconut milk. The boys tolerate it well and are doing well on it. It's downside is the price. However, I managed to find it on sale this week at Sunspot- we are taking it week by week. I'm hoping that they will outgrow it and will be soon able to tolerate milk again.
I will leave you with this thought:
"Are you becoming the man/woman that God dreamed of when He created you?"

Milk, Potty, and Love!!!

My parents came into town this past weekend to celebrate Micah's Birthday and Valentine's Day. Lowes often has workshops for kids in which they 'build something together.' This weekend was a Necklace holder. Papa P went with Caleb to create the craft...got to love Caleb's hair in this pic!
Valentine's Day Pancakes! [I ran out of red food coloring-used it all for the Elmo cupcakes a while back so the hearts had a green hue!]

FUN!

I Love Grandpa Dale!
Caleb was far more excited about Micah's Birthday cupcakes than anyone else at the party. He woke up asking for them and went to bed that night also requesting one. I told Caleb, "We can't eat them until we sing Happy Birthday to Micah." Caleb then proceed to sing it really really fast.

Caleb finally got his first cupcake!! Pure Bliss!

Stud!

Playdate with the fellas!

Happy Birthday Micah!!!

Elmo cupcakes!
This past weekend we celebrated the birth of our baby boy!! It's hard to believe that a year ago we were bringing home our little bundle of joy. Micah was asleep for the first hour of his party but made his grand appearance all decked out and ready to play! He is solely walking now and sometimes running to keep up with Travis. He is officially on whole milk and desperately trying to feed himself [which makes for a very messy baby!].
We love you so much Micah and feel more than Blessed to have you in our lives!
Thank you Jesus!
