We love us some Doula!
Story time with Uncle Travis

One of Micah's FAVORITE Gifts!!! Thanks Aunt B

Grandpa Dale and Grandma CiCi came to see Caleb at his school! Caleb was trying to keep his eyes open for the picture!

This is my favorite, when Caleb comes over and squeezes me until our faces are smashed!
Laur and Lin- "Nikki Taylor anyone?" haha

So here's some of my New Years Resolutions:
1. To spend time everyday with the Lord.
2. Each year I have a Life Theme and this year I've decided upon the story of Ruth. I hope to study and explore its relevance to my life this following year.
3. Make two new friends
4. De-clutter
5. Try one new recipe a week.
6. Drink more water
7. Be more aware of the Holy Spirit.
That's all for now!

Holiday Happenings

Caleb's Christmas Program at his preschool. He did such a great job singing and dancing on stage.
Pajama Time at the Library for Christmas stories! Caleb was picked to be a reindeer but he was more interested in 'picking' something else.....

Snow Day! Caleb was done after a few minutes. Micah wanted to stay outside all day. We don't have a sled yet so I pushed Micah around in a Laundry Basket [Thanks to my brilliant husbands invention we had so much fun!]

Oral Hygiene

We got the boys a beanbag for their 'reading nook.'

A Christmas teaser....

The Family at Christmas Eve at Grandma Suszek's House. My favorite part of the picture is Lia and Caleb holding hands in the front!

I'm calling this post the "Christmas Teaser" because, although only 10:15p.m it might as well be 2a.m! I'm completely exhausted and the thought of uploading more pics makes my head hurt. So here's a few pictures from our wonderful winter trip to Ohio!
The Taflinger Clan

Last year at Christmas several of us got really sick. We believe that it was food poisoning. However, not as bad poor little Micah was having some raspy breathing. Pictured here Micah is doing his treatments like a champ. In addition, my pops and hubby came down with the 24hr stomach flu which resulted in hanging low for a few days!

Mommy and Fireman Caleb

What's a trip home without checking out Lake MetroParks. This years exhibit was "Gumdrops!" See Caleb peaking out of the tunnel! Too Cute
More to come....
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Tis the Season...for Traditions!

What's the Holidays without a token Ugly Christmas Sweater Party?
Or a sleepover at Grammys?

Or spending Time with pals?

Or pictures by the Christmas Tree?

And our newest Holiday Tradition....mistletoe! Travis comes home from work and stands under it all night, only leaving to use the restroom :)

Lunch of a champion!

Travis and I [well mostly I...Travis is a bit more nostalgic] have been on a big de-cluttering kick recently. I can't tell you how liberating it feels to get rid of things! Whewww I am feeling so much lighter! :) This pack n' play is one of those big items that is leaving our home. I pulled it out so I could clean it and when I came back in the room, these two goobers were in the 'changing table' reading!

Holiday Happenings

The Taflinger family travelled home for Thanksgiving. The weekend was filled with good times, including and possibly the highlight-Gingerbread House Competition!
Travis and Lisa-Manger Gingerbread
Linny and Steve-Frank L. Wright Falling Water House
Laurie and Mike- Log Cabin House
I listed them in order of winnings: 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place. I'm still working on self-esteem building activities for Travis and I! :)
Dinner with the sibs!

Ahh I love them!

Some of the Ohio girls had a little get-together at the Metz Home. This is baby Ava's first time meeting OHIO, I'm certain she loved it!

Oh yeah, Caleb and I went to Veggie Tales Live at Crossroads Community Church! As predicted, Caleb was dancing in the aisles during "Where is my Hairbrush?"
