Ohio....

While in Ohio we took the kids to Memphis Kiddie Park...we went there as little girls so it was neat to be able to take the boys there. The same man runs it and it was perfect for the kiddos.
Lake Farm Park with Grammy and Paw

Cornerstone Christian Academy's 10 year Reunion. I know it small but it's all we had. And I loved it! : )

My man!

Micah and I had the same thought....we should have stayed on the Carousel!!

So my mom passed on the book, "The Me I Want To Be" after completing a small group study at her church. Although it sound like another 'self-help' book it is not! I'm almost done and it would be an excellent quick summer read for those hanging pool-side this summer. It deals with the fact that God has wired us for greatness in Him and he wants us to obtain that! God has been speaking to me lately about being ALIVE in Him and what it means to have life to the fullest!

Memorial Day Tradition...

Oh Man. Oh Man. Oh Man. CUTE!
Yesterday was the Grand Opening of Kokomo Canoe and Kayak down by the Reservoir. We packed the boys up and spent part of the day there! We had a picnic, went out on the water, and enjoyed the Reservoir. What a great Family Day! So Blessed!

This beauty was found on the side of the road. I gave it a nice coat of paint and put it in my bedroom. I love it!

Perfect!

I spent the day in Indy with my sister-in-law and attended East 91st Street Church. The Pastor spoke on the verse, "Be still and KNOW that I am God." It is such a busy time in our lives but was so good to have the reminder of 'being still!'

Animals...

Caleb has gone through several 'phases' so far in his little life. It began with a love for cars. Then came the obsession with dinosaurs. We are currently in an animal phase. From the time he wakes up in the morning until the time he goes to bed, Caleb is talking ANIMALS. His little mind is very creative. He finds several ways to play with his animals [we're talking Animal Circus', Animal Zoos, Animal Jungles etc...] but his favorite thing to do is to sort his animals. I'm not sure if you can tell in the picture but Caleb is using the stairs to categorize each group of animals. He will sort them by size, then by color, then by dwelling, the list goes on and on.... He's :) I love him and all his little character traits!

One Serious Egg Hunt...

While in Ohio, we went to Macedonia for a church egg hunt. However, this was unlike any other egg hunt I have ever attended. The eggs were dropped from a Helicopter into a baseball field and then 'unleashed' the children to hunt. Unfortunately, we walked away with only 3 eggs but a day full of muddy memories! :)

So excited...the Helicopter arrived!

It was a muddy mess but worth it!
