Touch a Truck!! 2012

Every year the Carmel, IN Parks Dept does something really fun....they gather the vehicles that boys dream about in one parking lot for them to explore!! The greatest day for my little Micah Taflinger! Micah and Caleb in front of the News Helicopter
 Fireman Caleb
 Old School!

I have to say that this HAS BEEN THE BEST SUMMER! I feel as if the boys are finally able to understand and experience events appropriately. They no longer nap so day trips are a breeze. Each day they become a little more independent and are maturing so fast! I have loved my time with my boys and wish that time could stand still! ;)

The Final Four

Papa P...in his glory!!

Summer in Ohio 2012

My blog is in a different format so I apologize if this appears odd but I wanted to post some pictures from our recent trip home to Ohio! It was one of my favorite trips home! As the kids continue grow and become more independent we are able to do so much more with them! Papa P taught the kids how to fish, ride bikes, and build a swingset!

Easter Ohio 2012

We took the boys to an Egg Hunt at Friends Church in Willoughby, Ohio and they loved it! Complete with crafts, puppet show, petting zoo and a hunt!
Petting Zoo
So Big!
Brotherly Love
The Traditional Easter reading by Pops and Communion! It was neat to see the boys begin to understand the meaning behind Easter this year.
Luke 24:6 "Jesus is not here! He has risen!"

Eagle Spotting! 4.12.12

What is it about little feet that are so sweet??!!
So the big buzz around Kokomo, IN is that there has been Bald Eagle spottings!! We loaded up the kids and headed out to find them. Micah doing a little research on the computer on our way...
Caleb was talking to Pa on the phone about Eagles....
Micah brought his binoculars
WE FOUND THEM!! It truly was amazing to watch as they flew through the clear sky. Their nest was large enough to fit 2 humans! Caleb said, "Dad, I love you so much...thanks for taking me to see the eagles!"
He satisfies me with the good things I long for. Then I feel young and strong again, just like an eagle. Psalm 103:4-6
