Children's Museum

This past Sunday the Indianapolis Children's Museum was FREE so we took the boys and had a wonderful time! It is the largest Children's Museum in the US, needless to say we didn't get through all the exhibits but we did have a perfect day! Here is Daddy and Caleb under the "Tree of Learning."
Caleb and Cuz Landen going for a ride in the car- this was the Comics Exhibit.

There was a Lego Display and Caleb loved building things!

Laughing and Hugs

Happy Birthday Laurie!!! We love you so much!!

So today I found myself laughing so hard at Caleb I shed a tear!! If you have not had the privilege of meeting my son, you are missing out!!! Today he was trying to get the trucks driving by to honk at him by doing the 'up and down' honk with his hand. When one Milk Truck finally did- he went wild!!! He jumped up and down, laughed, screamed, and ran in circles!! What a joy!!! I have the best job in the world!

Micah is already 12 Weeks

Our little artist....again, we thank God for washable products!!
smiley pants

Grandma P would be so proud!!

When Caleb was this age I was heading back to work, student teaching one day a week and attending class on Saturdays. I was away from my boy 6 out of 7 days!! I can't even imagine that now and praise the Lord I don't have to!
We took Micah to the doctors yesterday for some congestion [turns out everything was fine] and he clocked in at 12 pounds 13 ounces...which is huge for a Taflinger baby!!! :)

Sorry for the lack of posts. We have had the flu go through our house! Thank the Lord we are over the worst of it!

This past weekend we managed to travel home for a short trip with both boys. This was the first trip home for Micah and he did such a great job on the car ride! Thanks to Barney, Caleb also made the trip surprisingly well for his age!'

While at home in Ohio, MiMi and Papa P had an egg hunt for Caleb. He's become quite the pro at these endeavors! Inside the eggs were....TRUCKS!!! How perfect!

ALSO...while home my sister had her baby. I am amazed that God has allowed me to be present for the birth of both of my nieces!! My sister had a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Bella Lyn. She was a whopping 8lbs 6ounces and 20inches long! Laurie was a champ through the labor and delivery- we are so proud of her!

My Friend JoDee had a baby 3 days before I delivered Micah. Here is a picture of the two new friends, Zach and Micah...both not too happy about the flash! hahah Nice faces boys!
On a different note...Micah slept for 8 hours last night!! I traveled with him to IL for a baby shower so he had a pretty eventful day and it resulted in this wonderful long stretch of sleep. I'm hoping that this continues!
Hope your Palms Sunday was blessed!

Caleb at School...

So I have tried to be deliberate about having some educational time with Caleb when the baby is sleeping. Today's project/topic was Giraffes!!! However, I needed to try the product out on daddy to ensure its safety....yep- it was perfect! :)
