Caleb reading the morning funnies! I went to my 39 week appointment today [where does the time go]? I am 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced! My parents are packing their bags and heading down this weekend just in case things begin progressing. He said that since my fluids are a bit low he won't let me go much longer than next Thursday!! Can you believe that within a few short days baby Micah will be in my arms!!!! Surreal.
On a different note, Caleb is growing like a weed! Each day we are more impressed with his verbal skills and brain power! He is learning the word "same." He will often point to two objects that are similar to show us how they are alike. He can make various animal noises and his vocabulary is growing by the day! He loves books and will often play with them for long periods of time! Due to the extreme cold weather recently, we have read numerous books and he loves every minute of it!
Well, I'm off to nest some more- this time I feel much more prepared to greet Micah. I know what to expect [for the most part] and am aware of my sleepless nights ahead!! :)
