Travis and I are on a "Spending Fast"...we are trying to be mindful of our purchases. So I was overjoyed to receive a phone call from a great friend informing me of some items she spotted that were left curbside in her neighborhood. Within moments, I had the family loaded in our mini-van ready for some treasures. Sure enough this dresser pictured above was being dumped! Travis [who was slightly embarrassed] assisted me in salvaging this mighty find and delivering it safely to our home! It was painted in perfect colors for our new spare room remodel! What a great find-thanks Amy! :) Also recovered were some outside pillows for our swing and some greenery!
Secondly, I've been having an itch to decorate our Porch with some Fall attire. So I shopped 'upstairs' in my closet for some inspiration. Low and behold, I found this suitcase and painted our name on it and cut some paper sunflowers and called it art! Let's see what else I can uncover, tomorrow I'm hitting up the recycling bin! :)HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARCY!!!
