Update!!!

Well Family and Friends- the end is in sight!! Travis and I had our 39 week appointment today with Dr. Greer. She reported that I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced!! PRAISE THE LORD. She 'guestimated' the babies weight to be ~7 pounds and reported, "I may be seeing you this weekend little lady!!" If Caleb does not bless us with his presence this weekend, she is having us come in on Tuesday [July 24th] to be induced! Travis and I were not expecting his arrival anytime soon since I wasn't having any serious contractions and was informed last week that I was not yet dilated. Plus, I feel fantastic! However, God's timing is the best timing so we will spend these next few days anxiously awaiting his arrival!

Funny Story:
Travis and I were out doing errands on Sunday. We were slightly rushed so I was walking 'briskly' through Target. Subconsciously, I often rub my baby [a form of bonding] and this day was no exception. So I was walking briskly and rubbing my belly. A sweet African American lady came running up to me and screamed, "Girl-you goin' to have that baby now? Girl you okay?" She offered her hand and escorted me to the door before I could explain that I was just in a hurry!! I finally explained my situation and told her not to worry for this little guy wasn't going anywhere anytime soon!! People have been so kind- we are blessed!
