"Hi Mom"

Our big boy!!!For those of you who know me, know that I love to journal. So I decided to start my own "Mommy Journal." The adjustment from one child to two is getting easier but I want to remember what I am feeling and experiencing.
My entry today went something like this....
"You know you are a mom if you look in the mirror at 5p.m and ask yourself- 'Have I brushed yet today?'
It think I am the strongest I've ever been in my life right now. I discovered this today as I drove our two-door Geo to Walmart. Despite the lack of power steering and extremely small corridors it's a great family car... After taking our 19 month old out of the car, chasing down a cart, securing him in the cart and then lifting our 6 week old [with his carrier] into the cart- I was exhausted and ready to go home. However, I had to get some essential groceries for tonight's meal....outings take a great deal of planning [must bring snacks, toys, binkies, and diaper bag]!
My admiration for mothers of 4 or 5 children grows by the moment!

Lisa- Micah looks fantastic! He is so cute! and he looks like he is gaining weight so nice! I feel your pain with the errands... I only have one, but you are right after getting that car seat in and out, i am ready for a nap!!
